The 1915 is an event venue in Historic Downtown Wilkesboro that was built in 1915 and has beautiful federal style architecture and a magnificent clear story. This space is a beautiful backdrop for weddings, corporate dinners, and other special events. It also serves as a live music venue and dance hall. The 1915 is also home to The Artisan Cafe which is a local eatery and coffee stop in The 1915 building. The cafe is not only locally owned but is farm to table serving locally sourced items. The Artisan Cafe can provide catering to events in the 1915. *The Artisan Cafe is happy to host small corporate breakfasts and lunches (20 or less). Reservations need to be made 2+ weeks in advance. Number of Meeting/Event Rooms/Spaces: One event space that can be rented for weddings, corporate dinners, other events. The maximum capacity the space can seat for a wedding or dinner is 136. *There are tables and two types of chairs onsite.

Benton Hall, once known as North Wilkesboro Elementary School and built in 1913, houses Wilkes Playmakers (a performing arts theater group). Benton Hall seats 200+ with performances throughout the entire year. Benton Hall also offers meeting and conference space; the Great Hall on the main floor offers an elegant setting for parties and receptions. Their facilities does not offer traditional meetings rooms, however, they can customize events for guest using their tuscan inspired Tasting Room (approx. 50-60 people), outside covered pavilion called the Harvest Barn (approx. 150 people) and 4 luxury, creekside cabins (small groups).

Enjoy a corporate occasion or private meeting or gathering overlooking panoramic mountain views or in our classically-styled Tuscan Villa or Fattoria - fattoria means "farmhouse" in Italian. Fattoria Raffaldini offers a lovely location for your smaller event and is the perfect place for meetings or birthday parties. Nestled among the Montepulciano vines, this option can accommodate up to 40 guests. Enjoy beautiful views of the gardens and surrounding mountainside from the deck of the farmhouse; discuss business by the stone fireplace in the gallery or enjoy a relaxed luncheon on the Fattoria’s deck. Villa Raffaldini provides a gracious and expansive setting for your event. From the second floor of Villa Raffaldini you and your guests will have views of our large piazza with a beautiful fountain reminiscent of the intimate settings found in villages throughout Italy. Near the piazza are the Orange Moscato vines giving off heady aromas of orange blossom and gardenias during the height of the harvest season. The second floor of Villa Raffaldini can accommodate up to 72 indoor guests. 1) The Gathering Place: is the main event area comprised of several buildings such as: the outdoor wedding ceremony site, the restroom building, the TGP Pavilion with its large stage and dance floor, and The Party Place. 2) The Gathering Place Pavilion: We have a specially constructed event pavilion. This large event venue has a large dance floor and stage for larger events. It provides a beautiful and functional event venue for weddings, business meetings, seminars, and private events such as: family reunions, graduations, birthdays and pretty much any event up to 150 people! It is an open venue that overlooks the Raoring River and a beautiful forested hillside. This venue has retractable walls that can be lowered during inclement weather. 3) The Party Place: Is a separate indoor and outdoor event venue. The indoor area is one large open space that has a full kitchen with island, a dining area that can comfortably accommodate 14 guests seated. It also has a sitting area comprised of 3 sofas, a TV, indoor fireplace. It also has a Karaoke machine, a keyboard, and a guitar. This venue can accommodate very small events with a guest list of 14 to 20 guests for different types of events such as cocktail parties, baby and wedding showers, birthday parties, and private dinners. Ther Party Place’s outdoor area has a covered porch that can hold 3 tables (8 guests each) for a total of 24 guests. There is also an uncovered deck that can seat about 35 guests and a DJ. 4) Chez Joséphine restaurant: Small to medium events with a guest list of 15 to 50 may be held in the Chez Joséphine restaurant when the restaurant is normally closed to the public. The Stone Center for the Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art performance center located inside of Wilkes County School's Central Office in North Wilkesboro, NC. The 8,000 square foot center offers performance, banquet, dance, and meeting space. The Center also houses the Wilkes County Hall of Fame, and the Central Office holds a large art gallery displaying the work of students in grades K-12. It has a full-service kitchen, catering to special events and meetings. State-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. Total Meeting Space (sq ft): 8,000 Maximum Occupancy for Largest Room/Space (Classroom Style): The Stone Center accommodates 280 people in banquet-style seating and 560 people in theater-style seating. Talia’s has a nightclub setting with a large dance floor and a stage. We have a professional sound board and equipment that can be used when hiring our sound engineer. We have 180 guest capacity with actual seating for 90 guests (4500 square feet) along with a large bar and back bar area for food service. We do offer catering but also allow outside caterers. Talia Espresso is a bistro style coffee shop offering small semi private parties with all catering done in the cafe. We can offer Semi private seating during regular business hours with a maximum of 25 guests. The entire cafe can be rented after hours for rehearsal dinners, Christmas parties, weddings etc. (4000 sq. feet) up to 150 guests. We also have 2 stages for live music or open mic events. Talia does not have an ABC permit. in the event you would be offering this to your guests, an application would need to be acquired and final approval from Talia Espresso Management.

The Visitor Assistance Center (VAC) at W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir offers a conference room for organizations and visitors to hold meetings. With close proximity to the Lakeside Nature Trail, Backyard Habitat, Dark Mountain and Overmountain Victory Trails, the Environmental Education Center, Dam Site Boat Ramp, and Dam Site and Fish Dam Creek Picnic Shelters, visitors can incorporate team-building and fun-filled activities into their meeting’s agenda. Location - Main floor of the VAC located at 499 Reservoir Road in Wilkesboro, NC. Size - 783 sq ft., Rooms - One, Occupancy - 50, Restrictions - No food is allowed in the conference room. The old courtroom in the Wilkes Heritage Museum (formerly the Wilkes County Courthouse, c. 1902) is available for meetings and special events. This charming space contains a portable stage, 176 fixed seats, projector and screen, basic sound system and easily accessible restroom facilities. This space can be utilized for concerts, lectures, small weddings, meetings, and other programs. Total Meeting Space (sq ft): Stage is 24' x 48' Room is approx. 52' x 43' or 2236 sq ft.

Wilkesboro Civic Center

A facility owned by the Town of Wilkesboro that is available for rental by the day. Many rent it for a variety of reasons: wedding receptions, baby showers, birthday parties, family reunion, church gatherings, meetings, etc. Due to this being a government-owned building, no alcohol is allowed under any circumstances.
